# Dcyde

> Dcyde is a free decision log for teams. It captures the decisions a team makes, the call and the reasoning behind it, from Slack (/pin command), Figma (plugin), or directly in the app. Decisions land on a shared, searchable wall with who decided, when, and why; teammates vote anonymously to show alignment. Free for all rooms with unlimited members; the only paid plan is Enterprise, which adds SAML SSO and organization administration. Built by humans, for humans: no AI makes or summarizes your decisions.

Dcyde solves: decisions getting lost in Slack threads, teams re-debating settled questions, new hires asking "why is it like this?", and "who decided this?" moments. The alternative most teams use is nothing: chat scroll, meeting notes, and memory.

## Features

- Decision wall: every decision on one shared feed per room, pinned, dated, and attributed the moment it happens; open any pin for the full rationale, not just the outcome
- Slack capture: type /pin in any Slack channel and the decision lands on the wall with a link back to the thread; installs per room or org-wide
- Figma capture: pin a decision from the Figma plugin with a link back to the exact file and frame
- Compose in the app: write a decision directly with a title, context, scope tags, owners, and reference links (Jira, Confluence, Docs)
- Alignment voting: anonymous votes with a deadline on decisions that need buy-in; agreement is visible at a glance and quiet disagreement surfaces early
- Responsible people: name who owns each decision, so there is always someone to ask when it comes up again
- Scopes and tags: label decisions by topic (predefined plus per-room custom scopes) and filter the wall by them
- Full-text search: find any decision from months back in seconds, with its reasoning and source
- Follow and notifications: follow people or scopes, get notified on @mentions (via Slack DM) and when a pinned decision you are tagged in changes
- Weekly digest: an email summary of the week's decisions per room, for people who do not open the app daily
- Unread tracking: see which decisions are new since your last visit
- Rooms and roles: one room per team or project with admin and member roles; invite by link
- Organizations (Enterprise): SAML SSO, domain verification, and one dashboard to manage members, roles, and rooms company-wide
- No AI by design: Dcyde never makes or summarizes your decisions; AI can help a team decide, but a person is always responsible, and the record keeps the human accountable by name
